Reproduction Description:
This is made on half inch thick birch wood. The method of making these was slathering the wood with Polycrylic, then placing a reversed image printed with toner, and rubbing it down flat.
After it all dries, water is applied to soften the paper so that the paper can be scraped away, which takes a little time. The black toner is then left behind.
Then, if desired, Golden brand acrylic paints are added for a color effect. Then a finish coat of matte Polycrylic is applied.
On the back are half inch wood screws intentionally raised to let the artwork float off of the wall a little. Then it is signed on the back, and a hanging wire is added.
